So, I woke up around 5am to a Facebook message alert on my phone only to see it's a message from one of my best friends, Kim! Normally I would be super grumpy (I HATE being woken up before my alarm goes off) but the news was totally worth the lost 4 minutes of sleep: I am getting a visit from her on Thursday through next Tuesday!!
I'm so stoked..this is the first visitor I've gotten since moving here in January. To be honest, I didn't think anyone was going to come out and see me until sometime next year, what with wedding happening at Disney World in October...
It's a fairly spontaneous visit which gives me about a day and half to clean this apartment top to bottom! Now don't get me wrong, I think I keep this place looking pretty darn decent (for me, anyway. I HATE to clean) but I think I do a good job. Dishes get done constantly, kitchen is always clean..etc. I just gotta do some dusting and vacuuming and a little tidying and we'll be good to go :)
The only thing I have planned in mind is going to the Lodi Wineries which is about 20 miles or so from my area. They've got some pretty cute places where the owners/staff are so personable and really educate you on the types of wine they offer and why those wines are so special. So I'm really looking forward to that! Other than that I guess we shall play everything by ear. I'll keep you posted!
